Training Opportunities For Volunteers

We have several sessions available each month to train volunteers for service at Joining Hands Community Mission. Please note that training is mandatory for all volunteers.

Volunteer Orientation for new volunteers will be held on the 2nd and 4th Monday of each month at 10:00 am in the Administration Conference Room.

Volunteer Orientation lasts about 90 minutes and is an opportunity to learn about:
  1. All of the changes that have taken place as we’ve transitioned from a Church to a Mission
  2. Ethics and boundaries for those who volunteer
  3. An overview of the services that we provide at the Mission
  4. The layout of our campus and where outreach services are located
More volunteer training opportunities at different times and days will be scheduled in the near future. Please call the Mission office for further information at (727) 937-3268. We hope to see you there, and thank you for your help!
